Robert Griffith, pitcher for the elite giants. In 1934 he signed with the elite giants in Nashville that later moved to Baltimore. In the winter bob played for the team Santo Domingo with Satchel page. In 1938 Despite bob Griffith and bill Byrd piching 4-4 and 7-2 the elite giants lacked success . In 1939 bob Griffith played in the mexican league, but the elite giants were battling hard for the championship and beating the grays 4-3 for there first championship. They played 19 years .
