choosing is hard especially between two bad things like: own a monkey or sleep on concrete. One is always going to be worse but if there bad then it is hard to decide. So maybe someone else should choose, a president picker? Maybe, but how would you determine who would be the president pickers? Step 1: find president picker, pickers. Step 2: they pick the president pickers. How do you find those people? Easy: Repeat steps 1 and 2.
now obviously you would end up with a infinitely long list of committees and pickers so, when it comes to choosing a president, voting eliminates the long list problem, and unless we find a new way of finding a leader, we are going to have to keep voting.
