thanksgiving is almost never worse than not happening at all. unless the annoying family comes over, or your Cousens want to “help” but instead end up dropping the green bean casserole, but this year the only one getting blamed for that is you. To me thanksgiving this year was like an extra weekend, except with weekday zoom fatigue and pie. with so many things different I had to have some normality, so to beat the boredom I cleaned and played monopoly.
Then there was black Friday. the thinking of stuff to get people, the endless scrolling through 20% off stuff, and setting up the tree, but hey, better than cleaning and playing monopoly.
So, this was the holiday that was better with less people, and more pie.(for me)
